  • The Sentier Adrien Ries takes you through the six municipalities of the "Nordstad", partly along the Sûre, partly through enchanted forests, and to impressive views. It was named after the luxemburgish lawyer, economy expert and author Adrien Ries (1933 - 1991), who created the term "Nordstad" for the urban settlement area Diekirch/Ettelbruck. He was a passionate hiker who walked thousands of kilometres through Luxembourg and all over Europe. The Sentier Adrien Ries is divided into three circular hiking trails.

  • On the Circuit du Lac you will discover the Upper Sûre Lake in all its facets. In the midst of the Upper Sûre Natural Park, you can discover magnificent views, unique flora and fauna as well as small picturesque villages. The Circuit du Lac is divided into two hikes.

  • Enchanted forests, narrow paths, bizarre rock formations, overwhelming views, extensive mountain plateaus, deeply incised river valleys – all this can be experienced on the Éislek Pied. In total, the Éislek region counts 18 of these circular trails, which are based on the strict criteria of the European Hiking Association and are referred to as "quality tours".

  • The Minett Trail leads trough the Minett Region on 90 kilometres. You can split the trail in ten stages on which you can discover little villages and bigger cities, but also hike through eight nature reserves. These charm visitors with their old woods and former open pit mines whose cliffy rock faces, red rocks and pit brows are unique in Luxembourg.

  • The Escapardenne trail in the Belgian-Luxembourg Ardennes combines two "Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe", the Lee Trail and the Eislek Trail. With a total length of 158 km, it connects Ettelbruck (LU) and La Roche-en-Ardenne (BE). In eight stages, you walk on narrow paths and numerous rocky ridges to breathtaking viewpoints, through the quiet river valleys of the Sûre and the Wiltz as well as through unspoiled forest landscapes.
